Personal server

A personal VPN server, not a seat in a crowd

Almost every VPN you can buy for a few euros puts hundreds of strangers behind the same address. That single fact explains the captchas, the rejected bank logins and the evening slowdowns. A personal server removes the cause instead of working around it.

What you actually get

A server instance in Estonia that runs your traffic and nobody else's, an IP address registered to that instance alone, and up to five devices connected at the same time. Setup on every device is done by us, not handed to you as an article. If the address is ever blocked, we publish a replacement on a different network and your app picks it up on its own.

Why a shared address goes bad

Reputation systems judge an IP by everything that comes from it. On a shared pool that means the behaviour of hundreds of anonymous users: bulk mail, scraping, torrenting, fraud attempts. Within weeks the address collects flags, and the symptoms land on you — endless captchas, blocked checkout pages, banking apps that refuse to open. A dedicated address carries only your own history.

Speed that does not sag at nine in the evening

Shared servers are sold on the assumption that not everyone streams at once. When that assumption breaks, everyone on that machine slows down together. With a personal server the bandwidth is yours whether you use it or not, so an evening film starts as quickly as a morning email.

What it is not

It is not anonymity from the state, and we do not sell that story. Your hosting provider sees traffic volume, your bank still knows who you are, and Estonian jurisdiction means lawful requests get answered. What a personal server gives you is a clean, stable, private route to the internet with nobody looking over your shoulder at what you open.

Questions about the personal server

Is the IP address really mine alone?
Yes, on the Personal plan. The server instance runs your account only, and the address is not shared with any other customer. On the Family plan the same applies, with access shared by you rather than by us.
How many devices can I connect?
Five on the Personal plan and ten on Family: phone, laptop, tablet, and the home router if you want the entire household covered. We configure each of them for you.
What happens when the address gets blocked?
Availability is tested every fifteen minutes from inside the censored network. A dead channel is withdrawn automatically and a live one is published in its place, reaching your device within two hours at worst, usually on the next app launch.
Can I keep the same address for years?
Yes, unless it stops working. We only change an address when it has been blocked or when you ask for a different country — never for our own convenience.
Is €19 not expensive for one person?
It is roughly ten times what a shared subscription costs, because you get an entire server instead of a slot on one. If a broken connection costs you an hour of work a month, the arithmetic is already in your favour.
Set up in one evening. Write to us, tell us which devices you use, and we will prepare the server, configure everything and check that the services you care about actually open. You pay after it works.
